Stuart Badler, President

Stuart Badler, President and Chief Executive Officer of Buckingham Badler Associates Inc. is an ambitious individual who founded Buckingham Badler in 1973.  He possesses over thirty-six years of experience in the property casualty insurance business.

 Mr. Badler is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Administration.   Over the past thirty-six years, Mr. Badler has built Buckingham Badler into a prosperous and professional insurance agency consisting of four regional offices with a staff of seventy five employees. His recognition as a leader in the Property and Casualty insurance industry has resulted in his service on the Advisory Council of many insurance carriers.

 Mr. Badler also became very active in various insurance trade associations, most notably the Professional Insurance Agents of New York (PIANY) and New Jersey (PIANJ), the Council of Insurance Brokers of Greater New York (CIBGNY), The Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association (PIWA) and National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Organization (NAPSLO).

 Mr. Badler currently serves on PIA’s Board of Directors.  He is also a sitting member of the Education Committee, and Chairman of the PIA Company Liaison Committee.  In addition, Mr. Badler served on the Communications and Technology Committee with NAPSLO, and currently serves on the Education Committee.

 Mr. Badler is a Past President of the CIBGNY.   In 2001, he was honored with the CIBGNY “Man of the Year” for Lifetime Achievement award.

Currently, Mr. Badler serves as a member of the Board of Directors, and has chaired the Dinner Dance Committee for 10 years. This annual function brings 400 brokers, agents, vendors and company representatives together with some of the top dignitaries of the insurance industry and the New York political scene. Mr. Badler has also chaired the CIBGNY Golf Committee for 5 years.

  In 2005, Mr. Badler was elected to the position of Fire Commissioner for the Marlboro Township Fire District #2, Robertsville Fire Department in his home town of Marlboro, New Jersey.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Grand Bay Harbor Condo Association, having served as President and head of the insurance and maintenance committees.
